My granddad used to talk on and on about his Cuba vacations. Though I loved his stories, back when I used to be a kid I assumed that he was exaggerating for effect. He would let me know about meeting kings of business and EU royalty, picture stars and mobsters, all there to have a fab time on an island nirvana. One of his last regrets was that he didn’t get to go on another Cuba vacation before he died.
Though things have changed a lot over there, my granddad would be satisfied today if he knew that his grandchild had made a trip over to that pretty island. To hear people in the government talk, you would think that vacations to Cuba would be intensely threatening for an American As an important point, the largest hazard for US people going on Cuba vacations is our own State Dept. You see, it is illegal for us to go there because our country has an embargo against them for reasons that don’t truly make sense.
After you get there, get ready to be blown away by one of the loveliest places you’ve ever seen. The people are handsome, the design is lovely, the sea is fantastic, and the view is from this world. Though there’s a lot of bad rap the Cuban executive gets over here, it is generally overblown. The people that I met looked super happy with their lives. They make enough cash, get good medicare, and overall, appear to enjoy life a ton more than the majority of the people I know back home.
